The Trouble With Templeton are touring nationally this April.
“The Trouble With Templeton are excited to share their beautiful new video, and announce an exclusive farewell show before heading off to the UK & Europe for a few months, to celebrate the release of their album “Rookie” through seminal indie label Bella Union in the Northern Hemisphere. Going to radio last week in the UK, the new single ‘Soldiers’ was immediately picked up by BBC Radio 6 including a spin on the respected Steve Lamaq show. The video for “Soldiers” was shot in their hometown of Brisbane, and is once again directed by Josh Calder, but this time also co-directed by his brother and Templeton frontman, Thomas Calder. “The making of the video for “Soldiers” was an absolutely incredible experience,” said Thomas Calder. “It’s one of the most conceptually dense and patient of all our videos, and that’s something I find really exciting. We made a conscious effort not to push anything on the viewer or make it obvious what you should be concentrating on. We’re hope the audience finds something different with each new viewing. We’re very excited to share it with everyone!”
