Trailer: Vacation

The Griswold’s are back! The craziest family road trip of all time is returning to our screens for the new generation.

That famous haphazard trip to Walley World is being rebooted in this new take on National Lampoon’s Vacation favourite in Vacation.

Reprising their beloved roles of Mr. and Mrs. Griswold, Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo return to the screen. Ed Helms appears as a grown up Rusty, Christina Applegate as his wife and Leslie Mann as the still angsty but no longer teenage Audrey.

Rusty and his young family set out to recreate the Griswold’s family trip and set out for that famous theme park. As you can imagine, things don’t go too smoothly with a few of our favourite Clark moments finding their way in to this film.

Chris Hemsworth makes a rather ‘noticeable’ appearance in the trailer as Stone Crandall, Rusty’s brother-in-law. The overtly obvious sense of humour has carried through to this film from the 1983 original and makes no excuses.

We will undoubtedly have those uncomfortable moments when the joke goes that little bit too far, but that’s why we remember the Lampoon’s after all.
