After the disappointing box-office bomb that was Jobs, Universal Pictures are trying their hand a telling the story of Apple pioneer Steve Jobs. Enlisting screen writer Aaron Sorkin to adapt the screen play from the book of the same name and acquiring famed director Danny Boyle, this version of Jobs is already looking the goods. Throw in Michael Fassbender as Jobs, Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak (Apple co-founder), Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffman (original Apple team member) and Jeff Daniels as John Sculley (Apple CEO 1983-1993) and you have all the makings of an award winning picture.
This first trailer doesn’t reveal much, with a Fassbender lead voiceover acknowledging Jobs role and impact on modern technology. Fassbender also looks very similar to Jobs, with many claiming this could be his Oscar winning role. Check out the full synopsis below:
