Famous Paintings Recreated with Lego Pieces


Italian artist Marco Sodano has mixed childhood nostalgia with fine art, recreating classic masterpieces and reworking them into pixelated images inspired by brick-building toy Lego.
Sodano uses the bricks-you-always-regret-stepping-on in demure shades to form his own versions of Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and lesser known Lady With An Ermine, and also Johannes Vermeer’s Girl With A Pearl Earring. Through Sodano’s own words, ‘All the children are authentic artists with LEGO’
