Casper&Pearl – ABRACADABRA

Last week Adelaide based label Casper&Pearl debuted ABRACABRA under the creative genius of designer Stacey Hendrickson. At just 22 this is Stacey’s fifth collection for her brand, and each is keeps getting better than the last if that’s possible.

There have been sneaky peaks at the collection for a few months now, highlighting most of all the amazing floral print that features throughout the collection. The print is gorgeous, and appears on many of the garments including dresses, bralets, tops, pants, shorts and an amazing jumper I desperately need right now.

The collection also featured some block colour items; a brilliant red coat, and some casual dresses. Overall the collection definitely emulated the unique style of Casper+Pearl, with quirky cuts and patterns that are accessible but still very individual.

The cast of models comprised of incredible talent from Azalea Models (also run by Stacey Hendrickson), who are all very young but model like they’ve been doing it for years. One of my favourite parts of the show would have to be the makeup look throughout. It was a very simple and natural look, but accented with a white streak under the eye. I haven’t seen it on runways before, and I feel a festival makeup trend coming on here…

The collection will be available for purchase online in March, as well as at boutiques that stock the label. Details on their website.
