Adelaide’s Fashion Fever

Make way Melbourne, Adelaide (the city known for its abundance of churches and festivals) is fast becoming a fashion hub of its own.

As a teen, I distinctly remember friends and family alike heading to Melbourne to get their fashion fix for the upcoming season, before coming home and telling everyone about how great the shopping was, and showing off all of the amazing things they had scored. However, Adelaide is fast becoming a fashion hub in its own right, thanks to newest shop fronts FSHN BNKR and Windsor Smith.

After establishing itself as an online favourite, BNKR made its way from e-commerce to the real world – making Adelaide the home to  its first flagship store. It is the first retailer to stock the full range of Australian Fashion Label collections including Cameo, Finders Keepers and Keepsake as well as newest addition, Jaggar – allowing Adelaide fashionistas the luxury to try these items on before the rest of the country.

The launch party saw international fashion favourites Bambi and hubby Dangerous Dan make an appearance, along with Cosmo Australia’s Fashion Director Nicole Aldolphe, all the Australian Fashion Label head designers as well as many other home-grown and internationally acclaimed fashion heads.

Yet another exciting development on the Adelaide retail scene is internationally-renowned jewellery story Tiffany & Co, which will be opening its first Adelaide storefront on North Terrace as a part of the Adelaide Central Plaza complex.

Things are looking up for the Adelaide fashion scene, stay tuned and keep an eye out for more developments.
